Sitch n Pitch

Zee dishrag, she is fini! My turn in dishrag tag came after I received a lovely red heart dishrag from Cheryl. She also sent me a cute little sheep measuring tape and some Lindt chocolates, which unfortunately melted. The chocolate managed to stay off the yarn and my pretty new dishrag. The pattern is lacy rib dishcloth, and it's free. It's one of my favorites, and looks good from either side.

It was United Nations Day at the baseball game last Thursday! Our dear former au pair Steffi from Germany, Kathy from Germany, Alan from England, and Daughter #2 and I from the USA. (Kathy was an au pair at the same time Steffi was. She was with a terrible family, and ended up having to go back to Germany before her year was up.) There were many Mets fans, even though the game was in Philly. I finished and bound off Sheila's dishrag while at the game.
The game was very exciting, a high-scoring affair with 21 runs scored in total. Unfortunately the final score was not in the Mets' favor. El Duque was definitely not in his best form, and Billy Wagner lost the game in the bottom of the 9th.

Your dishcloth is very beautiful - what a lovely stitch pattern, and I love the colorway too! Well, and the fact that you knit it during such a cool baseball game makes it all the more special! Great!

Hi – I saw a comment that you left on my friend the FemiKnitMafia’s blog. I wanted to email you a question, but I can’t seem to find your email address. If it’s not too much trouble, can you drop me a line at aswiminknits AT yahoo DOT com?
Thanks!
